The public WebFlag site uses local storage to remember your cookie choice and essential functionality. We do not activate optional analytics until a provider is configured and the appropriate choice has been obtained.
1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies are small pieces of data stored or accessed on your device. They can keep a service working, remember choices or help measure how a site is used.
2. Essential storage
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| webflag_cookie_choice | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies. | Up to 6 months |
Essential storage is used because it is necessary to provide the choice mechanism and website functions you request.
3. Optional analytics
We may introduce privacy-conscious analytics to understand page visits and conversion journeys. We will update this table with the provider, cookie names, purposes and durations before enabling those tools.
4. Change your choice
You can reopen the cookie controls at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Rejecting optional cookies does not stop you using the public website.
5. Portal and third-party services
The WebFlag Portal at portal.webflag.uk is powered by WHMCS and may use its own essential session, security, preference and payment-related cookies. The Portal's cookie information and any payment provider notices also apply when you use those services.
6. Changes
We will update this policy when we add, remove or materially change cookies or similar technologies.
7. Contact
Email privacy@webflag.uk with questions about cookies or privacy.
