Do not use our services for unlawful, harmful, deceptive or abusive activity. Keep your software secure and use shared resources fairly.
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all services supplied by WebFlagUK Limited and forms part of our Terms of Service.
2. Prohibited activity
You must not use our services to create, store, transmit, promote or facilitate:
- unlawful content or activity;
- phishing, malware, credential theft, botnets or unauthorised access;
- unsolicited bulk email, purchased mailing lists or deceptive messaging;
- fraud, impersonation or infringement of intellectual-property rights;
- child sexual abuse material, terrorist content or material whose possession or distribution is illegal;
- harassment, threats, doxxing or serious invasions of privacy;
- attacks, scanning or interference with networks or systems without permission;
- services designed primarily to evade sanctions, court orders or law-enforcement action.
3. Fair resource use
Shared hosting must not be used in a way that materially degrades service for others. We may ask you to optimise, upgrade or reduce sustained excessive CPU, memory, storage, database, email or network usage.
4. Your security duties
You must keep software updated, use strong credentials, protect private keys and promptly address compromised accounts or websites. You must not deliberately conceal or ignore a known compromise.
5. How we enforce this policy
We may investigate reports, preserve relevant evidence, remove or disable content, rate-limit activity, suspend services or terminate an account. Where risk is immediate, we may act without advance notice. We will act proportionately where circumstances allow.
6. Report abuse
Email abuse@webflag.uk with the domain, URL, IP address, relevant timestamps and supporting evidence.
